For years I’ve had a passion for fitness and staying active. I was on an equestrian team for awhile and I was on the varsity track team in high school. I am originally from Long Island and the summer before I moved to Connecticut I rollerbladed a 17 mile round-trip trail along the beach almost every morning. After a couple of months I started to feel stronger and my love for strength training began in 2014. I realized I wanted to make what I love into a career and help people live a healthier lifestyle.
Earlier this year I got my personal training certificate through NASM. My next goal is to begin my nutrition certification through Precision. When I first decided to become a personal trainer this is exactly the type of gym I wanted to work at, somewhere with a lot of positive energy and a community feel.
Some of my favorite things to do other than being at the gym is spending time with my son, hiking or walking outdoors, painting and cooking.
